Through guided theory and a structured team exercise\, the session emphasizes: \n\nUnderstanding the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories.\nSector-specific CDM methodologies (energy\, waste\, AFOLU).\nKey components: Baseline Scenario\, Crediting Period\, Monitoring Table.\nMethodological flowchart navigation for demonstrating additionality.\n\nParticipants will apply this knowledge by selecting a relevant CDM methodology for their own proposed projects and practicing additionality assessments using the Tool for the Demonstration and Assessment of Additionality (including financial\, barrier\, and common practice options).

DESCRIPTION:Following to a well received kick off Indonesia Carbon Market Academy 2 “Series 2: Build Your Own Carbon Market” that focuses on carbon project methodology\, IBC is hosting a back-to-back series of trainings during the month of June and early July. Session 2 which starts on the 19th of June will assist participants in drafting PDD/DRAM. Session 3 which will take place on the 26th of June will focus on strengthening baseline scenario and additionality. Series 2 closes on the 3rd of July 2025 with the focus on the MRV aspect of a carbon project.
